Operating Hours

Joycebomb, LLC. operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m CST and is closed on the weekends. We are also closed on all major holidays. 

Delivery Times

All delivery times indicated on Service Pricing are in reference to business days only. Weekends are excluded.  

Payment for Services

Full payment is required before the start of service. No exceptions. 

Refund Policy

Excluding 24-hour cancellations (see Order Cancellations), all Joycebomb, LLC. services are ineligible for refunds. This is due to the time-intensive nature of the work provided. 

Order Cancellations

The Client reserves the right to cancel their order at any time. Once payment has been received, the Client has 24 hours to request an order cancellation and receive a full refund (this excludes Rush & Hyper Rush Services). 

After 24 hours, the Client may still cancel their order but will be ineligible for a refund. The payment can instead be applied as a credit to their next order. No exceptions.

Once payment has been received, Rush & Hyper Rush services are ineligible for refunds. If the Client wishes to cancel a Rush or Hyper Rush order, their payment can be applied as a credit to their next order. No exceptions.

Quality of Audio Editing & Restoration Services

Audio files are sent to us in varying stages of quality. Joycebomb, LLC. prides itself on editing and restoring each audio file to the best possible level of enhancement. With that being said, some audio files may be too distorted for full and total repair.

If after receiving the Client’s audio we feel it is not fully salvageable, we will advise the Client before the start of service. If the Client grants approval to continue and makes a payment, we will apply all of our commercial-grade resources to repairing the audio to the best of our ability.

Once payment is made, our Refund policy applies, regardless of the audio’s end result.

Inadmissible Audio Files

Joycebomb, LLC. does not under any circumstance accept the following types of audio:

• Illegally obtained audio that was privately recorded without informed consent. Each state has its own laws surrounding this topic. Be sure to do your research! Click here to review the recording laws in your state.

• Recordings of illegal activity (exception: law enforcement agencies).

Requests for Changes

Upon delivery of a completed order, the Client has 3 days to respond with any requests for changes free of charge. The maximum number of change requests per order is three. After the three-day period has passed, or after three change requests have been made, any further requests will require a new service order. No exceptions. 

General Pricing

Prices are subject to change at Joycebomb, LLC.'s discretion. Any price changes will be updated on the website and applied with immediate effect.

Audio Transcription Pricing:

Incomplete minutes that are 30 or more seconds will be rounded up and priced to the nearest minute. Incomplete minutes that are under 30 seconds will be rounded down.

Example:

An audio file that is 38 minutes and 42 seconds will be priced at 39 minutes.

An audio file that is 38 minutes and 29 seconds will be priced at 38 minutes.

Text-to-Text Transcription Pricing:

For incomplete pages that do not have a full page of text:

• Text that covers half the page or more will be rounded up and priced as a full page.

• Text that covers less than half the page will be rounded down to half price.

Example:

A Standard Rate order for one page with text that stops mid-page will be priced at $9.

A Standard Rate order for one page with only two sentences on it will be priced at $4.50.

Text-to-Text Transcription | Bulk Orders:

Bulk orders are considered orders of 50 or more pages.

Rush Services

Monday - Thursday: Rush orders must be placed prior to 12 p.m. CST. The turnaround clock for all Rush orders placed after 12 p.m will not begin until the next morning. 

Example:

Jennifer places a Rush order on Tuesday at 9 a.m CST.

Jennifer’s Rush order will be delivered no later than EOD (end of day) Thursday.  

Marcus places a Rush order on Tuesday at 2 p.m CST.

Marcus’ Rush order will be delivered no later than EOD Friday.

Fridays: For any Rush orders that are placed after 12:00 p.m CST on Fridays, the turnaround clock will not begin until Monday. 

Weekends: For any Rush orders placed over the weekend, the turnaround clock will not begin until Monday. 

Hyper Rush Services

Monday - Thursday: Hyper Rush orders must be placed prior to 12 p.m. CST. Hyper Rush orders placed after 12 p.m. will be processed as a first-priority Rush order and delivered no later than EOD the following business day.

Example: 

Richie places a Hyper Rush order on Monday at 8 a.m. CST.

Richie’s Hyper Rush order will be delivered no later than EOD Monday (same day).

Alana places a Hyper Rush order on Wednesday at 3 p.m. CST.

Alana’s order will be delivered no later than EOD Thursday.

Fridays: Any Hyper Rush Orders placed after 12:00 p.m CST will not be processed until Monday morning and delivered no later than EOD Monday. 

Weekends: Any Hyper Rush orders placed over the weekend will not be processed until Monday morning and delivered no later than EOD Monday.

Right of Refusal:

Joycebomb, LLC reserves the right to decline any service order for any reason.

Changes/updates to Terms of Service:

Joycebomb, LLC. reserves the right to update terms of service at any time for any reason. All clients will be notified via email in the event of any major changes.
